Kailh Box V2 Brown Tactile -perfection

There not allot of reviews of the kailh box v2 switches. I think that's because the original box (not v2) were not great and butt many have tried the v2. But there is at least one that does a very detailed look of the V2... look for YouTuber "mandydeth" video on the kailh box v2. It's great.

I put these on my Q3 with Keychron's OEM PBT Dye-sub 1.6mm thick "beach" keycaps. They feel and sound perfect together. I also added three layers of blue painters masking tape to the back of the Q3 pcb for good solid thod/thoccy sound and feel. I also added some thicker lube (205) to the very tiny plastic "slider" that works against the contacts inside the "box", but i only did that on a few clicking sounding switches that i think needed it.

I'm very happy with these and i plan to order more for building another keyboard.

Optimized Structure And Greater Feel

The new Box V2 switch features a POM stem, black translucent cover, and solid black base with a 5-Pin positioning column. The LED slot of the cover is half-sealed to assure more light is transmitted. There are 2 small opens on the LED slot, It means that this switch is compatible with the 2-Pin LED and SMD-LED. Additionally, compared with V1, the Box V2 switch also has some changes in typing feel. The tactile feedback of Box V2 brown switch changes from the traditional tactile of V1 to heavy tactile and feels far stronger than V1.
