Nice and quiet..

I bought the silent reds because my wife was annoyed by the clickity clackity by the regular reds in our shared workspace. After installation, I find them to be much quieter but no silent. My wife appreciates the reduction in sound. That said, out of the 110 switches, 6 were totally unusable with severely bent (which can be fixed) or missing pins. Otherwise, I am pretty pleased.

Great Tactility, but Not 100% Silent

I got these to install in my V3 keyboard for the office. For that application, they are a great option, as they still give a really positive and sharp tactile bump to each keypress, but with very significantly reduced noise over any other similarly tactile switch.
But they are not silent. The odd switch has a subtle squeak to the bottom out, and it is hard to isolate because not every switch is the same. I have only been typing on these for a day and I've already replaced 3 switches on my keyboard.
At the price, they're not a bad option, and they do 90% of what I wanted them for. Unless the squeaking gets much more pronounced, I will be keeping these at the office. If they do become a problem, I will spring for Kailh's Silent Tactiles as replacements.

Silence, finally!

I previously had stock brown switches that came with my K10. After annoying everyone around me within earshot, I bought these switches. Why didn’t I get them sooner!? They don’t have that clicky sound, but instead feel buttery smooth. I also feel like I accidentally press keys less often with these than the brown switches. Definitely worth the $20 + shipping. Your significant other will thank you.
