Great keyboard exactly what I was looking for!

Haven't used it for gaming, but the feel and overall look and sound is amazing to me! I was looking for what they call the "thocky" keyboards, which is why I also went with brown switches, which I heard is better for gaming over the other two colors they sell. My first mechanical keyboard and I dont regret the purchase! Ordered off of Amazon and I'm very happy with the purchase would buy from again!

Great Keyboard for the money

I got my C1 with RGB backlight and Blue switches. No hot swap because I'll probably get a new keyboard before I ever need to use that. This is actually my very first mechanical keyboard and I have to say that I am hooked. My keyboard sounds great, looks great, and it's just a huge step up from the old Logitech membrane keyboard that I used to use. My only complaint is the lack of via support. I currently just use karabiner elements and that works fine, but only for my Mac, not my Windows laptop.

White backlight, hot-swap browns

I bought the white-backlit version of this Keychron C1, with brown hot-swap switches, from Amazon. Keychron did not have that version in stock. I was very pleased. I even bought some custom keycaps. But I caught the keyboard flu, and decided I needed more. I wanted bluetooth connectivity and the ability to program macros or remap my key layout. So think about whether you might want these before you order the C1 keyboard. I ended up buying a K2 Pro from this website. I'm happy with both these keyboards.

A few miscellaneous comments: 1) I really wish every vendor would supply uniform profile keycaps. The bespoke OEM and "spherical angle" keycaps make it difficult to reuse your keycaps on another keyboard. I knew nothing about this going in. Maybe I'm a caveman typist but I don't see the point of having differently-shaped keys on each row. It'd be great if Keychron offered an XDA profile option.

2) The black keys on this keyboard look bad unless you have the backlight on. I replaced my C1's keycaps with opaque ones because I didn't like seeing those black keys in normal light. 3) Both my C1 and K2 Pro have white LED backlights. The light patterns on the C1 are much more interesting than the K2 Pro's. Not that I use them much, but the C1 has the advantage of having better patterns.

Very Pleased

I bought this after a long search for a quality mechanical keyboard that isnt too expensive, i really liked the retro design and tenkeyless layout so i ordered.
And it is even better than i imagined! Its sturdy, very well manufactured, just the right amount of weight, with the feet in/out it doesnt move a millimeter while typing, and it wastes no space!
I also type alot faster now and have a better gaming experience.
I only wish they would offer this in german layout, maybe they can make it happen?
